We are not betraying ourselves, or other people, by choosing to be happy or choosing joy.
“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”
― Benjamin Mee, We Bought a Zoo
Procrastination and prioritisation and laziness are not automatically equivalent.
I need time. I hate that I need time, but I love what time has given to me.
Let's not forget that these memories may last, but that these moments don't. Please be kind to yourself today!
I am not in a position to love you, so do me a favour? Find some people who are.
You told me God was a poet. You told me I could see God in the sky, the green, the good.
Every day we get to choose who we'll be. You taught me that. Thank you.
For a long time, I thought that being vulnerable was equivalent to being weak. Now, I know better.
Hi everybody! I came on here excited to share this post with...I still am...but I'm just now noticing that I haven't given you a single post since 2015! (*gasp*, how dare I?!) Anyway, I've been wanting to start a YouTube channel as an extension of this blog for some time now. Channels like Katie Gregoire's and Jon Jorgenson (The Anima Series)'s have encouraged me even more to do so. And so finally! redinktv has come into existence.
For my first video, I talked about how too often we wait for people to give us the go ahead, when instead we should be going ahead and being the unexpected impossible. The video is embedded below, and I hope you all enjoy it. Now as well as liking this post on Facebook, feel free to like the video on Youtube, and don't forget to share and comment!
<3 Have a great rest of the week!
